I want to create “attributes” for some items on WordPress, but I don’t know exactly how to do it.

I will try to explain my specific case: I advertise companies on my website and I want to filter them by attributes. (For example, if people want to see which company is located in Finland and accepts Visa, they would just choose these attributes from a sidebar or from a drop down menu).

Or when you go a electronics shop and you can choose from a left sidebar the products between price X and Y, or bigger than X dimension, or etc etc

My site is not exactly an online store, I only display information and try to get people to click on external links, so it can’t be done with an online shop plugin.

I can see one way to do it using categories, but it’s not a brilliant solution.

Do you know any kind of plugin, or maybe even something included on wordpress that can resolve my issue?

You could set the items as tags or categories (or any custom taxonomy that you wanted) and then use this plugin to filter them:
