Variations being broken up on sync?

Hi. In trying to sync from Square to Woo, the variations are being broken up so that every term is it’s own individual variation? So that “Large”, “Small”, etc. all have there own pull down with nothing in them but the label to choose an option? Obviously you can not actually choose an option because Large is the label and not an option? Does that make sense?
