Attributes disappeared, edited items =out of stock, attributes gone after update

Problems:
When a vendor goes in to edit a listing, all the attributes disappear, and now items appear out of stock. If a customer selects an option (attribute or variation) they get an out of stock message.
This is only after we updated!
WE need help, I don’t know how to fix this. Your help would be much appreciated!
