• Wow, attributes are unusable. Working on them, I set them all to what I want. I refresh and find most of them gone. I try working on them more, and more attributes vanish. No way to set these. What the heck?

This is costing huge amounts of time. Doesn’t matter how much its saved, attributes just are unreliable and it shows them one moment, then a refresh later their GONE!

And no, this isn’t custom code. I know you don’t want to support your customers, but I think data loss is a serious issue, and your UI is terrible.

    Hi there @johnkostly1,

I understand that you’re experiencing issues with attributes disappearing.

This is not a common issue indeed. I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

It is a common problem, use the UX and watch it happen. If you want, I can install a video sharing app and show you the problem. Or you can work with attributes and tring to add them to products yourself.

    Hi there @johnkostly1,

Thanks again for getting back to us. It would truly be helpful if you can share a screencast of how you are experiencing the issue, as I already tried playing around with attributes on my test store but could not replicate the issue. All attributes were saved without any issues, even after refreshing the site.

You can use a screen recording software like this one and share the direct link here with us. It would also be helpful to try saving the attributes with only WooCommerce activated in your store to see if the issue persists. If it does, try switching to a default theme like Storefront and check if it persists.

This will help us rule out any possible theme/plugin conflicts.

    Looking forward to your reply.
