Auction emails not sending

    Hi,

    This plugin creates some new email notification types – auction start, end, win and outbid. However, when enabled, we are not getting (or seeing email logs for) these emails in our testing.

    We also notice that the Auction Win and Auction End email recipients seem to be static settings (defaulting to the site admin), rather than set to go to the customer. It seems like those emails should go to the customer.

    Thanks for contacting us.

    Could you please verify once whether the emails are configured properly.

    Also, the Auction win and end emails are sent to the customers along with the option for to be sent to the admin.

    Let me know if I have missed something.

    Email sending is configured properly on the site – we have both an email sending service that tracks all sends, and an email log plugin installed.

    Did you mean something else about the emails being configured correctly? I don’t see any error messages when I save the email settings for each email, and each is enabled.

    In our testing, we have not seen those emails go out for either the customer or an admin.

    Sorry for delay in response.

    We have tested the functionality on our local test server, and found to be working correctly.

    Could you please share screens reference of the settings configured for the plugin emails.

    BTW, when I added $this->customer_email = true; to the constructor of WC_Auction_Software_End, I got an email to send.

    And to clarify, the redacted part of that screenshot is a field without a value – but it shows the site admin’s email address as a placeholder.
