Audio and Video Player / Playlist Problem and Sizing question

Hi

I am having this quirky issue when trying to add audio and video via WP add media.

When the player shows up, and you hover over the play bar or control bar there’s this strange bracket that appears and I can’t figure out why that is.

I have disabled all my plugins and the issue persists so I’m thinking maybe a theme issue but not sure.

Also, is it possible to control the player’s dimensions?
