Audio Files NOT playing on blog

    I am trying to upload (.wav) audio files into a post for my blog so that viewers can play them without having to download the files. I uploaded the files by clicking on “add media” selecting the files, and the selecting “embed media player” before inserting them into my post.
    Once inserted a black bar shows up with a play button, track duration bar, and a volume control. BUT when I hit the play button the track will NOT play. Did I miss a step? What’s the problem?

    I resolved my own problem. I deactivated the audio player I had and installed the wordpress compact audio player. I had to convert all my .wav files to mp3’s but it plays perfectly now.
