• Hi everyone,
I have two WordPress websites. When I go to upload an audio file in either of them (I tested mp3 and ogg files for now), I can play the file only if I am not logged in. This is what happens: when I copy the file URL to clipboard and open it in a new window when I’m logged in, I see the browser video player interface and the mp3 won’t play. If I switch to incognito mode or log out and visit the same URL, I see the browser audio player interface and the mp3 works fine.
I’m on Chrome. I can replicate the same problem on Opera.
Any suggestions on what it might be? I thought that it must be something on the websites/browsers themselves since the files are playable just fine when you access them as a visitor. Problem is, I’d like to add a paid membership system now and of course I can’t if logged in users can’t listen to the very same files I’d like to restrict!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If it’s of any help, I noticed through the Chrome developer tools that the server returns a 503 error when I try to access the mp3 file as a logged in user, while there are obviously no errors as a visitor. But I have no idea what’s causing this.
