Audio not playing / not found

    Trying out this plug in for the first time. I posted a test podcast. The media file plays fine when linked directly to it, but through the plug-in, there’s nothing and I get a 404 when I try to download it from the player. What did I do wrong? The media file is self-hosted, if that matters, and I haven’t put in any feeds to Apple, Spotify, etc, yet, as I’m in very early development phase.

    Follow-up, I found this in Inspector:

    castos-player.min.js?ver=2.23.0:1

        GET https://youvebeenbooked.ca/podcast-player/5/first-day-jitters.mp3 404 (Not Found)

    UPDATE2: I found a solution to ask my host (Bluehost) about changing the permissions or something on the NGINX server file. Bluehost told me I can’t because I’m on a shared hosting plan. Oh well, this plug-in seemed ideal and this a pretty dumb reason for me not to be able to use it IMO. In particular the media player looked really nice and functional, I guess I’ll go with the boring wordpress player now.

    @neelmodi You mentioned that you have Bluehost as your host. Do you have the Bluehost Plugin installed? If so, there is a known conflict with SSP and their plugin. You can follow these instructions to resolve it, or you can disable the Bluehost plugin completely.

    Let me know if you continue to experience trouble, however.
