audio player play/pause button same brown color as player

    INFO:
    WP 3.7.1
    Browsers: Firefox 25 Chrome 31.0.1650.57 m
    Location: 3ryd.com/radio-zone

    I can play the file of course since I know where the button should be but I’m afraid my listeners will not be able too. Is there a way to change this. I know that WP just uses the default HTML5 player and I can create a quick HTML5 file using the audio player and the button shows up just fine so WP must alter the color somehow. Is there a way to fix this?

    Sure you can Annis,

    Just edit the css code on the mediaelement path:
    wp-includes/js/mediaelement/wp-mediaelement.css

    In that file you’ll find the classes with respective colors, since you’ve changed it, it will apply for the native wordpress player.

    I’d suggest making CSS changes in a custom CSS option or plugins so that they are not lost when WP is updated. Plus, it’s just a bad idea to modify core files.
