Audio Tags not appearing in some browsers/devices

  • I have a bunch of MP3 files that I have embedded using the [audio] tag. This worked fine up until recently when the number of audio files was increased from 4 to 7.

    Now, this works fine on Windows and Android, but when tested from an iPhone and Mac they just do not appear, but before adding the new files they worked fine.

    However, If I am logged in to the WordPress admin area and preview the page from a Mac – it works. On the live page it does not.

    Very frustrating!

    Any suggestions?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Nineteen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
