Audio widget displayed incorrectly in WordPress 5.7

Maybe you should try upgrading your Elementor to the latest version, it may be just a minor conflict that might be causing this.

See if upgrading the plugin solves the problem.

I am not sure I fully understand what they did at that link, but it seemed a different issue as if I get it they couldn’t see the buttons because of the background. Additionally this was a 2013 issue, mine just started last week when I upgraded WordPress, it worked fine for 4 years before that.
