Australian Post Tab is not showing

I tried today with the same issue.

WP 4.6.1
Woo 2.6.8
Latest version of plugin 1.5.3

No Australia post tab under the shipping options.

Hello all,
since you are using WooCommerce 2.6+ you have to use WooCommerce shipping zones to use Australia Post extension.
Please take a look at this simple guide from WooCommerce on how to setup shipping zone. After creating a shipping zone you can assign Australia Post method to it and you are good to go.

I have done all that and the plug in still will not activate. or else i have no tab in order to put in my API key

Did you assign the shipping method to the shipping zone?

yup,

Then you have to click on Australia Post link assigned to the zone. What happens it will redirect you to the settings page. There are no tabs.
