I have connected only to Facebook and Google.

Ran WordPress Social Login Diagnostics. Every single test was ok. Server timestamp was Pass in spite of this error

Error: There was an error querying Twitter’s servers.

However, neither Facebook nor Google login seem to work. After providing my credentials, I get the message

Authentication failed. Either you have cancelled the authentication or Facebook refused the connection.
ξ Could not establish connection to provider API

As suggested at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/request-failed-either-you-have-cancelled-the-authentication-or-google-refused-t?replies=15 I enable “Google+ API” at APIs & auth > APIs. That doesn’t seem to have made any difference to Google login (obviously it cant have any effect on Facebook login)

Are you testing this on a hosted site? Maybe with WPEngine?
Or locally? On a non-standard port?

Per the docs:

If you have caching or session configured differently, that might cause your problem.

I had to have WPEngine add

wp-content/plugins/wordpress-social-login/hybrid

to the ‘do not cache list’. Maybe you have something like that?

My PHP timezone was wrong. Fixing that fixed the login issue.
