    Hi.

    1. What is access code? Is it Tracking ID?
    2. I placed tracking ID in the “Access Code” field, clicked “save changes” (nothing happened), clicked “Authenticate with Google” (‘Settings saved’ showed up). Everywhere I see “Please accept the terms to use this feature”. Is it working?

    3. I have two separate WP sites. One is example.com second is example.com/blog. First is successfully connected with Google Analytics. I would like both to be treated by Google Analytics as one website (they kind of are). Is it going to be like this by default or do I need to change something?

  • Hi @fater,

Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help clarify here.

    1. The access code is used to authorize a connection between your Google Analytics account within WordPress. You just need to copy and paste the authorization code that pops up once you log into Google to connect with Google Analytics.

If you’re interested in manually inserting your tracking ID, please click on ‘Manually enter Tracking ID’. Here’s a screenshot: https://cl.ly/ifEk

    2. In order to enable the dashboard features within WordPress you must accept the terms which is why you’re seeing this message.

    3. You’re only able to track one dashboard within your WordPress back end, unfortunately we do not have the ability to show more than one at this time.

If you’re interested in having both websites to share the same Google Analytics account, you can do that and would just have to select the same Google Analytics account on both sites.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues. My goal is to provide exceptional support and to make sure all is well upon installation, if I have done that today please considering leaving us a review ??

    Hi @brandonsharethis

Thank you very much for detailed answer. I’m happy to manually add tracking ID and see the stats only in Google account.

When I tick the ‘Manually enter Tracking ID’ no field to enter it is showing. I assume it’s because I didn’t accept those terms and conditions? But I don’t see where to do it. Could you tell me please?

    hi there

i was experiencing the same (or similar) issue. After turning off Opera’s ad blocking feature i was able to move on and authenticate with Google.

Before turning ad-block off the plugin settings form was not loaded properly – in dev tools console i saw some errors

    Hi Palik,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know.
Disabling adblock is one of the common issues that we’re having. We might have to put a side note in the settings to remind people to turn the notifications on.

If you happen to run into the errors again, feel free to take a screenshot and send it to us. We’d be happy to investigate!

    Brandon
