• I have tried getting this to work several times without any luck. Tried uninstalling and reinstallings. Tried on a different browser. Same issue “No authentication Token found for this Target.”

    I have the plugin on both sites. And filled in the details on the source site. The issue appears to be with the password. There is a red X beside the password. When I enter it and hit Save Changes it says settings changed but the password disappears. – Is it supposed to do this.

    I tried deactivating iThemes security but that didn’t help either.

    Any other tricks????

    Hello peaksmedia & carreiro,

    Are either of you using WPEngine as the target?

    Does the target have the permalinks set to anything but the “Plain”?

    No not using WPEngine? Checked the permalink settings, set to /%category%/%postname%/. Is a WooCommerce site, so also has product permalinks.

    I tried on a different site and had the same Red X. Both are on the same server (SiteGround) but are two different types of sites.

    Please set up the WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG on the Target system by completing the following steps.

    Open the wp-config.php file with a text editor on the Target system. Find define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
    Change to define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    Then just under it add define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );

    WP_DEBUG_LOG is a companion to WP_DEBUG that causes all errors to also be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory.

    Then, attempt the authentication. Once that’s done, grab the wp-content/debug.log and wp-content/plugins/wpsitesynccontent/~log.txt files. Send them to us. This should allow us to see what’s happening. If not, then we’ll need to do the same thing on the Source site to see if it’s a problem on the Source and not the Target.

    Thanks you

    Hi,
    I am now attempting to set this up on a new site. Same issue with the red x beside the password:
    Password for the Username on the Target. Username and Password not entered or not valid.”

    As soon as I enter the password I receive this red x and the password is removed.

    I added the debug, true to the wp-config file on the “target” system as indicated. However there is no file – debug.log to send you? Also tried on the local system. No debug.log either.

    I have the ~log.txt file from the target (nothing on the local) to send – where do I send it to?

    Hello Andrea,

    The file we need is the ~log.txt file in the /wp-content/plugins/wpsitesynccontent/~log.txt

    Please send along the URL of the Target site and the login credentials.

    You can send that to https://serverpress.com/contact
