• I just recently upgrade to WP 3.5.2 and now when I try to login I get

    Authentication Required
The server https://mydomain.com:80 requires a username and password. The server says: Please request password from support.
    Username:__________________________
    Password:__________________________

instead of the usual WP login screen. I’m not sure , but I think this started after the upgrade to WP 3.5.2

    Any suggestions?

  • That doesn’t look like a WordPress issue. Either your site has been hacked or your host is having issues. Can you FTP to site?

I’m having the exact same problem….began just about 3 days ago completely randomly. I hadn’t made any changes to WordPress or the site. I cannot access the WP login screen via https://www.mydomain.org/wp-admin it just keeps giving the pop-up window netforest mentions above. Have cleared caches/cookies on all browsers, yet nothing.

The site is still up and working fine, just cannot login.

    Anyone know what going on??

Yes, You need to contact your web hosting provider. They are doing this as a precautionary measure to prevent attacks on WP sites. They should be able to issue you the correct credentials for logging in.

    Hope that helps.
