Hello and here is a user imput for modification.
You know the use of #author or #user whereby the user or author is tagged or cited or called using the #. This is used also in wordress. Test p2 and I think buddypress. Problem is that when I do use #joeblow on my P2 theme using hashtagger then #joeblow becomes a tag and that is not needed (nor wanted).
Maybe I hope there is an easy way to ecluded all #user/author off the tag list – best is using exclude #displayname which is the safest one to be used in WP.

  • Thanks very much for this input! I’ll add this as an optional feature.

When thinking about this I asked myself if it should be #user or @user as on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. What do you think?

    Sorry Peter my wrong.
I realize it this morning and wanted to get back to you.
You give me a chance here.
But in P2 it is not # that is used to call or cite the author/user but the symbol @ so there is no issue actually in the 1st place.
