Author account not found

  • Shortly after adding the node plug-in my site posts stopped going to the blog profile in Fediverse. Not sure if the Node plug-in cause I deactivated and the problem remains. Site Health now returns an account not accessible error as well.

    Your author URL https://mysite.com/author/admin/ is not accessible. Please check your WordPress setup or permalink structure. If the setup seems fine, maybe check if a plugin might restrict the access.

    What am I looking for in the permalinks or setup?

    When you share your real URL, I can have a look.

    In the meantime you could check if a plugin (like for example YoastSEO) disables profile/author URLs.
