Hi, this plugin overall has been awesomely easy to set up with an attractive look. I am using it at sbuspokethethunder.com/submit for people to submit writing, artwork, and audio files for a literary magazine.

When I view UGC I can’t see responses to two custom fields with yes/no questions that I do not know how to view the answers to, and more importantly to the default field for author and the field for user’s email address. In the meantime I instead wrote for users to include their information in the message box. However, I still need to retrieve the author and email address for UGC that has already been submitted. Can you please tell me how to do this?

Another less urgent issue I had is that success/error messages were not displaying. Instead the page would just reload either way. I created a “submitted successfully” page and put in the redirect to it, but still am not sure why the default error messages aren’t working for me. Is it a conflict with my theme? (I am using a child theme of theme1405.) I see no other complaints of these problems.

    I’m having the same issue.

I receive the admin email notyfing that new content has been uploaded, but I never receive the additional field information that the user inputs on my form.

Is the information also stored on my database? I need to notify the people that uploaded something per email about some other stuff.

    Guys,

I’m sorry but in order to implement custom fields you’ll need some knowledge of PHP as it could be done only with filters. Custom fields support is a longstanding feature request and I’m halfway there with the functionality, so I’ll release it with the next version of the plugin. Unfortunately, I have little to no time to work on the plugin right now.

Thanks Rinat, I’m totally fine with the workaround on that.

However, I believe the author field is not custom. The problem is that even when using that default field, if the information was being stored I am not sure how/where it could be visible to me.

I need to know the authors for uploads that were already submitted. How can I make this display somewhere? Thanks.
