Author and E-mail Address

    I have searched through this for answers, but can’t find them. I have two questions.

    1. I want to have the submitter show up as the Author, but I don’t require registration. Is there a way to do this?

    2. How can I access the e-mail address of the submitter so that I can e-mail them?

    1) In order for that to happen, the plugin needs to know the username of the person who is submitting the form. As far as I know, there is no way to get that information unless the user is logged in to WordPress. Just how WP works.

    2) You can view Custom Fields like Email, URL, and IP Address in the Custom Fields panel, which is located beneath each submitted post on the Edit Post screen.

    Oh wow. Thank you so much for a quick and detailed response. I found the custom fields, and while disappointed about the plug-in, if it’s the way it works, it’s the way it works.

    I was just debating whether or not to upgrade to Pro, and seeing as you are the Author who took the time to answer, you just made my decision a lot easier. Thank you friend.

    I m new in WordPress, And I want add a new field in the Form, named “About Author” in USP free plugin.The user will post without login and they will write about them.
    Plz tell me how to do it and all steps, so that i can do it easily.

    Its very urgent.

    DevM, sorry but that is not possible with the free version of USP. It can be done with the Pro version: https://plugin-planet.com/usp-pro/
