    Hello,

    I am trying to get to grip with WordPress at the moment, so my code skills are pretty limited, well non-existent.

    My website https://www.young-perspective.net is a newspaper to promote young writers so, on the author’s page, I would like to be able to display a photo and some information about each author.

    I have access to the author.php file, but I am really struggling with where to insert what code to bring up this information, I just want to fetch it from the WordPress server.

    Otherwise, if it is simpler, how do you change it so that when someone clicks an author’s name it takes them to a different static page where I could store that author’s info?

    Sorry if this is unclear.

    Thank you very much, I am officially I very happy man. I have learn how to tweak small parts of the code, which is great, and I have achieved what I wanted from the author element of the website. Thank you so much for helping me out !
