Author by-line in 2012

  • I’m new to 2012. My author by-line is not appearing beneath post titles. Is this by design? Or am I doing something wrong? How can I enable the by-line?

  • if you are the only author, then by design, the info is hidden with this style:

    .single-author .entry-meta .by-author {
	display: none;
}

    the css class .single-author is added by a filter on ‘body_class’ in functions.php

    So, if I add another Author, would by-lines then be visible? (By the way: thank you – I was going nuts).
