Author can’t view post in 2.2.3

  • Our church web page is a WordPress blog with many authors:

    One of my first-time authors emailed me with two problems:

    1. She started a post using IE. She was able to type a title, but was unable to click in the text area.

    As the admin I finished her saved post and published it, still showing her as the author.

    2. Now she emails me to say, “I can’t see the post. It’s listed in the sidebar under recent posts, but when I click on the post title, it says “Sorry no posts match your criteria.”

    I see the post just fine in FF and IE6. My other admin sees it too. Any ideas where I should start looking to fix this??

    Ah…
    I think I found the problem.
    The post title was “From the bottom of our hearts…” and the permalink became a little funny with the “…” and added “%e2%80%a6” to the end.

    I resaved the post with no “…” and removed the “%e2%80%a6” from the page slug, and things seem to have returned to normal.
