Author can’t write anymore

    Hi,
    Since some update (we are now running UM 2.0.55) it is not possible for people with the WordPress user role WordPress ‘Author’ to write a post in the admin area.
    They used to be able to do that via a menu-link to https://website.com/wp-admin/post-new.php (link won’t work).

    I have not changed any setting that has caused this. Is this a bug? How to fix this?

    Hi @bapakrob,

    Can you please go to the Ultimate member -> User roles -> your Author user role and make sure that “Can access wp-admin?” is checked.

    Thank you. It seems to be fixed.
    Is that setting being reverted in some of the last updates? I can’t remember that I have changed it.
