Author, Category and Blog page wont allow me to designate widgets

Hi All

I have a situation where I have created 5 widgets areas in the sidebar so one can assign different widgets in the right hand column of the screen.

I have used the custom sidebars plugin so once the page is opened in the admin the user can choose 5 different widgets to populate each page, making them as bespoke as they like.

The problem is that the author, category and blog page wont show the widgets assigned to them.

All the templates are using the sidebar include too.

I can put widgets into the widgets panels on the widget page and they act as defaults but I want the user to have the ability to do this themselves via the admin.

Any help much appreciated. Unfortunately I can’t show you the site as you need to amend your hosts file for this.
