Author dropdown menu gone after 5.9 update

Using Gutenberg editor. I have admin permissions and dont have that dropdown hidden anywhere in page settings.

I dont see that dropdown when creating a new post, or viewing an older post.. though sometimes I actually can see it in an old post, but mostly I dont. Others with admin permissions will see the dropdown when creating a post, but not in older posts.
