Author information below the title of the post?

That is kind of how I want it. Is there a way to display authors avatar in the post? Next to his name?

there is a line of code in the twenty ten code (below: adapted to be independent of twenty ten) which you could use:

<div id="author-avatar">
                                                        <?php echo get_avatar( get_the_author_meta( 'user_email' ), 60); ?>
                                                </div><!-- #author-avatar -->

(you could probably use it without the surrounding div)

you just need to edit the template where you want the avatar beside the author name in the post.

I think this plugin is the same. It calls up the get avatar function.

But I cant seem to figure out how to add this to the single.php template. I need the html for it right?
