• Question about the Review Author Links feature. I have pages displaying reviews using the product_name shortcode. When I click the author name link, it stays on the current page with a query string filter of the author name, essentially working link a filter.

How can I instead have this link to a completely separate page displaying a list of that review authors reviews for all products, rather than just the current product_name?

    Hi Jason,

Unfortunately, there’s no way in the plugin to do that. It uses the same shortcode to re-populate the list, but just with the filter that you mentioned. So there would be no way to have it dynamically remove the product_name attribute from the shortcode when you click the link.

Thanks for the reply. That is a bit disappointing because I have the “one review per person, per product” setting turned on, and with that feature the author linking basically has no use.

This is a key piece of scope for the project I’m working on, which your Ultimate Reviews has otherwise been perfect for.

What do you reccomend? Where in the plugin code can I find the linking for the author name? Do you have any hooks available for author name?

    Thanks
