Author list

I’m wondering if anyone know how to do what Scandal Beauties has done with their left collumn. They have a list of their authors there with personalized images, I think it’s either a plugin or a theme-function, can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to create this for my own website?

Also they have personalized banners, this shouldn’t be to hard… I just haven’t found the right plugin… Or is this also a theme feature?

Any help as to either how to create this myself or where I would be able to find the plugin would be great. Thanks!
