author name

    how is it possible to have the author name not show up on posts?
    at least on the page itself?

    I am setting up a neighborhood watch blog and want to have privacy for the posters.

    Remove the template tag <?php the_author() ?> from whatever theme file it resides in. (home.php, index.php, single.php etc)
