    On all of the authors, if they don’t have a website listed in their profile, their name links to .com/author/theirname

    With this plugin, there’s really no need to see a list of past articles. And it just looks ugly with my site right now.

    I’ve read in a few other forums there aren’t immediate plans to have a customizeable author page (which I don’t really need, but it would fix my issue).

    BUT – is it possible to just NOT link the author name on the widget if they don’t have a website listed? If they have a website link, then absolutely link their name. But if they don’t, just don’t link at all?

    My alternative is to just put the provided link in for anyone without a separate website. Or put our home page link in there. But that’s a little misleading.

    Hopefully that’s enough details to make sense ??

    Hi,

    Thank you for the detailed feedback.

    A solution would be to add just # at the author link and the link will practically do nothing.

    You can also use Minimal theme so that the Latest Post will not show anymore.

    Hi Calin,

    So i tried adding just # in the users website/company URL, and it actually opens up another window and just says error.

    I still want the Latest Post tab, and tried the Minimal theme, and it doesn’t change the fact that their actual name on the widget is still a link. Unless my Minimal theme is broke and it should in fact stop their name from being a link?

    I see, please upgrade the plugin and add the line:

    define(‘ABH_AUTHORLINK’, false);

    in the wp-config.php file.
    It will remove the authors link.
