Author name on Facebook

It seems like Facebook has decided not to show the author’s information for the recent article.

Please stay advised that it is entirely upto Facebook to decide whether they want to show the author’s name on the shared links or not.

No. Earlier in all articles was Author Tag for OG from Social settings in RankMath plugin. But now it depend on who is author of the post.

So, you still can see author tag on my own articles: https://www.facebook.com/itzineru/posts/1727541580786512

But on other artciles from another authors there is no any sign. Maybe you know, how to fix it?

The value from Settings is used as a fallback when a value doesn’t exist in the Facebook Profile URL field in the User Profile page.

To use the value from Settings on all the pages, you can use the following filter code:

add_filter( "rank_math/opengraph/facebook/article_author", function( $content ) {
	return RankMath\Helper::get_settings( 'titles.facebook_author_urls' );
});
