Author of post′s info – link

Hi.
I have a blog with several users who post from a frontedn.
In each post, I have an author info box, where there is a link to user page of the user.
If the user updates their profile information (ultimate member), that link is broken.
The link, alone, is fixed if I update the user from the panel.
Some help?
