Author screen option is inconsistent

    Hi. I have different custom post types on my site and noticed that some have author screen option and others don’t. I configured the CPT UI setting to make sure that the author option was checked for all custom post types but I still see it missing in some. How can I fix this problem?

  • If it’s something on the front end, it would be the theme.
    If it’s something on the back end, it would be the plugin.
    The editor checks what the post type supports before loading the various parts, although the standard data is saved so you can change your post type definition and not have empty fields.
