• WordPress version: 3.5.2
    WordPress SEO version: 1.4.10

I did this: Installed version with sitemap listing the author profile URLs.

I expected the plugin to do this: List the author URLs in the sitemap, but not the admin.

Instead it did this: Included the admin in the authors sitemap.

Could there be an easy way to exclude the admin from the list of authors in the sitemap? I don’t write blog posts, and don’t want to appear in my client’s sitemap. I would think this would be a pretty common scenario. Unless I’m missing something obvious.

This is still an issue in version 1.4.15.

I have manually corrected it in the class-sitemaps.php file by adding a check for the admin and excluding that user. However, I get tired of correcting this every time there’s an update.

I have a feeling that I may be able to filter out the admin by using the wpseo_sitemap_exclude_author filter, but I’m not sure exactly how to use it. This filter is not listed on the Yoast site while covering filters for this plugin.

Would you please give me an example of how I would use this to filter out the admin? I know I would create a function in my functions.php file, I just need to know the specifics. Would I pass it the user ID? The username?

    Thank you for any assistance.
