Author, tag, category pages settings & meta

    Hi, thank you for this wonderful tool.

    I wonder that do we have any option to set up meta and related settings for author, tag and category pages. Could you help me?

    Hi, Nartcan!

    At its core, TSF optimizes these archives out of the box. However, there are many options available which you can tweak.

    Authors, on their profile page, they can set their:

    • Facebook profile page URL;
    • Twitter profile name.

    This information is used when the author publishes a post or page, for better social integration.

    Terms, like Tags and Categories, have fields for:

    • Custom meta titles;
    • Custom meta descriptions;
    • Robots meta settings;
    • And more are planned.

    Moreover, there are global robots meta settings for all these types; you can find them on the SEO Settings page.

    Aside from the robots meta settings, content archives, like author, date, and search result pages, don’t have more specific SEO options available for each type specifically. This is due to their inconsistent behavior in WordPress, and I’m still looking for ways to implement more features.
