Author URL is not accessible

    I’m fiddeling with that now for some time. I can follow the complete blog, but not the author.

    My blog resides under the subdirectory “wordpress” what I configured as described with

    RedirectMatch "^\/.well-known/(webfinger|nodeinfo|x-nodeinfo2)(.*)$" /wordpress/.well-known/$1$2

    Before I had the Ultimated member pluging enabled, that was always redirecting from /author to /user, but this is now also fixed.

    And – for me at least – the output from

    curl "https://blog.gerhard-vogt.de/author/gerhardy2408/" -H 'Accept: application/activity+json'

    also looks fine for me

    I was able to follow your author without problems (you should see my mastodon account in your followers list).

    thanks for checking Matthias.

    in the meantime i was able to fix it.

    i installed additionally your Webfinger plugin. I assume it’s mandatory. And I removed the entry in the .htaccess file.

    There is no mandatory plugin. The ActivityPub plugins comes with everything out of the box, even WebFinger. I think installing the plugin hasn’t fixed the issue, but maybe caused a cache invalidation or something. Weird, but nice that it now works.
