• Hi I am getting authorisation error, I’ve setup many websites using this plugin and never had an issue, I have a feeling it’s because I lost internet half way through the setup process. What’s my best option?

    Thanks

    Hi there!

The “400 invalid_request” or “Access blocked” error when signing into Google using the Google for WooCommerce plugin usually indicates an issue with the authentication process. Since you lost internet during setup, it’s possible that the authorization was incomplete or corrupted.

Please try to reconnect your connection by following these steps:

    1. Go to?https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page. (replace the example.com with your site url )
    2. Under?Merchant Center, click?MC Disconnect.
    3. Under?Google Account, click?Disconnect Google Account.
    4. Under?Jetpack, click?Disconnect Jetpack. (if available)

Next, please go to your Google account’s security settingsremove all access permissions for WooCommerce, and then repeat the setup process in the plugin.

For a full guide on connecting your Google Merchant Center account, please refer to this article.

Let me know if this helps or if you have any questions along the way!

    Hello algraham93,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand following the steps did not resolve this problem.

To better understand the issue, could record a video of the steps and share it with me?
I want to review the process and determine at which point this error occurs.
You may use Loom.com or awesomescreenshot.com to share the video.

I also recommend contacting Google’s support.
Ask them if there are any restrictions on the account.

Looking forward to your response. ??
