• I’m just writing in case this helps someone –

In our situation, under Settings > Picasa, it said to add https://domain.com and https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=photonic-helpers as Redirect URIs.

However, we were getting an Error 400 ‘redirect_uri_mismatch’ in Google when we would go into Authenication > (under Picasa/Google Photos) Step 1: Authenticate.

The problem was that we also needed to add https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=photonic-auth as a Redirect URI.

Once we added that (third) Redirect URI, we were able to Authenticate.

This was not something I could find in documentation – but I hope that this post helps someone else get authenticated. We could not even get the Authentication part done until adding it!

My thought would be to (unless our site has an anomaly) add that to the Settings > Picasa area, as a third Redirect URI that needs to be added in Google when doing the OAuth.

Additionally – for G Suite users, you have to go to your Google Plus Profile to get your Profile ID (instead of using your @gmail.com username) in order to access your albums in the Helper. It only shows your ‘Profiles’ album. So the conclusion is – use a gmail.com account!!

    Thank you!

    Paul

You are right. I will need to change the documentation for this. In the last release I moved the Authentication from the Helpers page to its own page, but I forgot to update the documentation.

    Thanks for reporting this!
