• First I am not in the test mode, we use event pro with the same authorize.net settings. When I submit CC info I get a small pop up from both chrome and firefox that is blank with the words ok, when ok is clicked the card is not processed.

I have tried both username and api login id for authorize.net in the settings for WP Invoice with no avail. Could use a little help her. The reason for trying both is, your programmers use a different nomenclature for “Gateway Username” versus “User Login ID” or “API Login ID”.

    Thanks very much,

    Rick

    Hello,

please check your “encapsulation char” and “delimiter char” settings.

    Thanks.

I went into Authorize net and turned on those settings and made them match with WP invoice. I still receive a small window with the word ok and the process is stopped until I click yes then I get no transaction.

    Thanks

Ok, there is another one thing you can try.

You need to be sure you create new invoices after any change of general Payment Settings on WP-Invoice Settings page because invoices inherit payment settings when created. OR you need to change payment settings for individual invoices when testing them.

Can you confirm you aware of this?

    Thanks.

No I wasn’t aware of this, I have since gone in and tried this and changed the “Gateway Username” to the three choices it could be through Authorize.net

    Authorize.net doesn’t have a “Gateway Username” I can find.

    My choices are:
    API ID
    Login ID
    Payment Gateway ID

I have tried all three now, created new invoice for each, cleared history and cookies for each, and the payment still doesn’t process.

    Thanks

I think you are using wrong credentials.

Gateway Username is API Login ID
Gateway Transaction Key is API Transaction Key

These are already renamed in new pre-release version.

Check Gateway URL as well. It should point to corresponding mode you use (test/live)

    Thanks.

I changed the things you requested, still no luck. Can I get the pre-release and use it? Also is paid support available to speed things up we are approaching a deadline, and already have a lot of time invested. This seems so simple to set up I am not sure what I am missing. Using the plugin is very easy as well. Just need to get the CC processing working.

    Thanks

Thanks Anton I finally got it, the trick was to eliminate both delimited and encapsulated characters and set Authorize net to none and that has done the trick. I appreciate all your help in resolving this. Today we finish billing 80K in business.

    Thanks again,

Sounds good! Authorize.net always was tricky…

Btw, if you like the plugin or support you could leave a review ?? That helps us a lot.

    Thank you!

I was having a similar issue as Rick, and I made the same changes he did (eliminate both delimited and encapsulated characters) although I don’t know what “set Authorize net to none” means. Now when I submit a payment online, my card is charged, but wp-invoice still shows the invoice as unpaid, and when the client clicks submit, they get a blank “page says” message. When they click ok on that message, the page reloads showing the invoice as unpaid even though the card is charged.

    any ideas?
    Josh
