I’m getting the following error using the Authorize.net payment gateway:

The transaction is not successfully submitted.
The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.

I’ve copy/pasted the API logon ID and transaction key from Authorize.net into the fields API User Name/Logon ID and API Signature (is this the transaction key – if so, poorly named).

Both the plugin and the gateway are in test mode. I’m not sure what else to do to make it work. Is there anything I can look at to help diagnose the problem? Are you using Advanced Integration Method (AIM) or Server Integration Method (SIM) and do I have to put something in the Authorize.net gateway to make that work?
    Thanks!

Never mind – to TEST when you only have a LIVE account, you set the live account to TEST, but you set the plugin to LIVE so that it goes to the right URL. If you want to completely TEST, you must be testing against a authorize.net TEST account, not a live production account.

    Hi Dleigh,
to make live payment you have to change the mode from backend.
