• I am the registered admin for my website, https://www.techgeec.com. I also have about five registered authors. When I log in to my admin account and put up a post, it says that the author is one of the other registered authors, not “admin”. Anything I can do?

    Any one?

    Hi iPT2gGeec
    Did you get this fixed?
I’m having the same problem where I’m the only administrator ‘admin’. I’ve added a new user, originally as a contributor (all fine so far), then a second user as a contributor. Adding the second user makes my user name ‘admin’ disappear when I create a new post or page and it looks like it’s been created by the top user in the list. This shouldn’t even happen as a contributor doesn’t have access to publish posts or pages.
Changing them to any other role makes no difference. The only way round it at the moment is to only have one user!

    Did you fix this?
    or can anyone else help?

    thanks
