Authors on Blog(1) getting comments sent from Blog(2)

  • One of the ministries we work with has two separate and distinct blogs, each for a different purpose, and each hosted on different servers.

    Blog1 has several authors, Blog2 has one author. For some reason, authors on Blog1 are receiving all the comments from Blog2 via email.

    These blogs have nothing to do with each other, are on separate servers and really have no connection except for the overall ministry. Both are WP 1.5.2 installs.

    Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be causing this behavior?

  • I’ve never heard that comments can be sent through email.
    Maybe the admin email is the same for both blogs and they are receiving the email notification for comments posted?

    The email notification contains the complete text of the comment, so even if it is a notification, they are still receiving the comment as well.

    The admin is the same on both blogs, but it is the other authors on Blog1 (who have nothing to do with Blog2) that are receiving the emails.
