• Hi there – I’ve already browsed the forum and can’t find any related posts. I hope I haven’t overseen something. If yes, sorry for that!

I’m using WP for my homepage [ redundant link removed ]. I want to create a newsfeed/blog, where multiple experts can post as authors.

When I create an additional user in my dashboard, that user is able to login using the /wp-admin mask. So everything works until that point.

When the new user logs in, he can only see the website as it appears to anyone else and has no access to the dashboard/the navigation for his account. A user, set as author, can not make new blog post entrys ur change his profile.

Do you have any input how I can fix this, so the authors are able to create new articles?

    Thank you!

I was able to resolve that problem by myself!

For any of you having a similar one, using Ultimate Membership Pro – you need to go to “general options” and “access”. UMP is limiting the dashboard acess automatically! You can change your preference there.

Thank you guys, you can close the topic. Sorry for bothering you!
