Auto Apply Expiration Date ONLY to post with specific category

Let’s say I have a category “news-time-sensitive” and I want to set up the post expirator so that anything that is categorized as such is automatically given a given expiration date.

Currently I’m using IMAP email posting to automatically create these posts, trying to make the creation and expiration as hands-off as possible.

Is this possible?
