    Hi all,

I’m working on a website with many pages, currently 100+ and expanding…

The WP theme is Page Builder Framework.

The conditional menu plugin works fine for the primary desktop menu.
HOWEVER the option for “auto apply sub-pages” is not working for the secondary mobile menu.

I needed to make conditional menus for each sibling directory which each has around 30 child pages in total with identical page slugs.
    (i.e. Menu 1 for “/something/sibling-page-1/” & “/something/sibling-page-1/child-page-1/” to “/something/sibling-page-1/child-page-30/”, Menu 2 for “/something/sibling-page-2/…”, Menu 3 for “/something/sibling-page-3/…”)

I am currently manually clicking 30+ check-boxes of pages for each of the 3 main conditional mobile menus that has identical page titles being listed and going back to recheck another checkbox by trial and error to get the right mobile menu to the right child pages.

The “auto apply sub-pages” feature is a life-saver that works for the primary desktop menu.
Can this feature be patched for the secondary mobile menu?

Also, is it possible to make a condition based on the relative URL that is similar to the concept of HTML <base> Tag? I believe that will provide a convenient alternate condition to cover all sub-pages without having to recheck the check-boxes when new child pages are added.

    Hi,

Sorry, but I am a bit confused. If I understand correctly you have 2 different menus on all of your pages and the CM is working for one menu, but not working for your other ( second menu )? Please post a link to your website to one of the pages where you have this issue.

@themifyme I think that issue is related to not being compatible with the latest WordPress version. These are the steps to reproduce on WordPress 5.8.1

    1. Create a new condition
    2. Go to the “Pages” condition
    3. Choose a page that has child pages and select “Auto apply sub-pages”
    4. Save condition.

The page you choose is saved, but the “Auto apply sub-pages” checkbox, does not.
Also, the condition works only for the parent page, the child pages do not have the conditional menu

The reproduction steps @yaplex wrote is correct.
The problem does not depend on the menu chosen, rather it depends on the menu location.

The following link is an example of the menu locations available in the “page builder framework” theme I am using.
    https://snipboard.io/FnBDgr.jpg

The normal default menu location, the “main menu” works fine.
However the second menu location, the “mobile menu” does not.

    As a side note,
each time a new child page is created after menu conditions are set under the parent page with “auto apply to sub-pages” selected, the conditions for the menu need to be manually applied again on the parent page with “auto apply to sub-pages” once more.
Is it suppose to be that way or is the child page suppose to be automatically included in the menu with conditions just like the parent page.
