    I have the Ultimate Member plugin installed, and added a custom user role. When a user is created, they should receive an “account activation” email and it doesn’t auto-approve, which is correct. However, when I import the users under that role, it somehow overrides that setting and approves the account automatically, even though I tried adding a column for “Status” to awaiting_email_confirmation . Anyone else experiencing this issue?

    Hey, I do have the same problem! I also need to not auto-activate any imported user!

    Sorry, but we have no addon prepared for Ultimate Member.

    Could you ask their support?

    I realized that when I export all users using the plugin, it detects the plugin account_status as “awaiting_confirmation_email”. I tried to add that column for when I am importing the user, but it seems to not work. Does your plugin not support the account_status meta?

    @chelsiechow,

    No, this plugin does not detect it. This plugin reads the meta table and shows all metas that are there.

    If this is a meta, this is included in the export.
