    Hi

When editing a product I can add the brand to the field that is generated by the plugin.

Can this field pull in from a product attribute called ‘brand’?

Also, for optimised title, can this pull in the title used by woocommerce?
Ideally I would like this to pull in and convert to sentence case and then be able to be amended so any amend then overides what is there.

We have over 5000 products and need a way to automate ideally as products were added prior to the plugin being installed

    Thanks for any help

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Did you see this blog post?
    https://adtribes.io/how-to-use-the-optimized-title-field/

So our plugin will always use the normal WooCommerce product title when no optimized title is filled for a product, as back-up.

    Does that answer your question?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Some of the product titles have capitals and google is flagging them. Is there a way to force sentence case from within the plugin for the feed export?

Also, can the ‘brand’ field pull in from a product attribute called ‘brand’? We need a way to populate the brand field automatically if possible

    Hi,

It was not possible to do so but we have just pushed out a new release of our plugin to add this feature for you. Just make sure to update the plugin to the latest version and change the field mapping for your product name to this:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/b6rq1752511mbxr/title-lowercase.png?dl=0

It will result in all product names becoming lowercased, excluding the first letter which will be uppercased.

With regards to your brand question: when you created a brand attribute yourselves already which holds your product brands then yes you can map that attribute to Google’s g:brand field.

    Hope this helps?

Perfect, thanks for sorting this so quick. Google likes lower case titles for some reason.

Would it be possible to also have an option for title case?

The plugin isn’t asking for an update so guess it is going through wordpress.

    I’ll keep checking.

    Thanks again

    Hi

How do I get the updated plugin?

It does look like we need to have a title case option too if that would be possible

    Thanks

Your WP plugin section should automatically show you an update notification.

    Hi
It’s running 1.7.8 with no update notifications

    Is that the latest version?

    Thanks

I see, you are on the paid version of our plugin and not the free one. Can you reach out to us via our website/email for this? We are not allowed to support the paid users on the WP-forum (WordPress guidelines).
