Auto complete throws error

Hi there!

It appears there is at least an API which has not been enabled in your Google Cloud Console platform (see screenshot).

Please check out the relevant section of our documentation where we discuss the APIs that need to be enabled in your Google account for using our plugin.

As the error in your page suggests, the Places API hasn’t been enabled. Click the previous link and just activate it. Double check all the necessary APIs mentioned before so you have them all enabled ??

If you want to more easily debug these errors, you can always open the Javascript Console in your browser (F12), which gives you more detailed information whenever there is an error.

I think a list of must have enabled API’s in the Doc’s would help. I think google somewhat changed API Names since the documentation was written.

Actually we do have a list of “must have enabled APIs” in our documentation. I just checked it out and it is up to date, but it is true that Google keeps changing stuff all the time and we must always stay alert!

Yes, you are right, I am seeing this when trying out autocomplete (screenshot).

Please check out this section where we cover this error.

Double check that you haven’t reached your API limit and that you have billing enabled in your Google Cloud Console platform.
